No doubt you have heard… YouTube is becoming a fantastic marketing tool… Video offers such a unique and personal characteristic to internet marketing, once you’ve gone video, you may never go back to the old link building days! Many people think making useful YouTube videos is outside their capabilities, but you would be surprised what you can accomplish with just a few off-the-shelf tools.

You’ll need:

A webcam (Logitech QuickCam is the best)
Screen capture software (Camtasia)
Video editing software (Microsoft MovieMaker)
Some patience!

Logitech’s software is great because it generates YouTube friendly output! Microsoft MovieMaker is good too and you can use it to put a watermark (watermark = yourwebsite address). Now you just need an idea for your video….

How do you take your product/service that you are marketing and turn it into a video? This is where you get creative! If it’s a software product, screen capture is best in a “how to” form. You could just go web-cam style and talk with your pretty mug in the camera, as in a “video review” of sorts. There are numerous ways to achieve great traffic from YouTube Videos.
